[color=#E60056]Ok, turns out this whole thing was actually borked by Camstudio. I never actually bothered to watch the video until today (just assumed everything worked out fine) but it actually looks totally like this:

Anticlimactic. But actually, i've also seen that CamStudio borks your video if
it's a game you're filming. Sucks. Oh well :|
